Jake Lewis didn’t have
the most astounding opening round to the 2017 MotoAmerica season by his exceptional standards, but ‘the Snake’ was still able
to land on the podium and gather some valuable points in the title hunt heading into the second round at Road Atlanta. The twenty-one
year old suffered a crash in morning warm-up on Sunday at Circuit of the Americas that left him with a banged up foot, but fortunately it was nothing more than a nagging injury. Although it somewhat hindered his performance
in the second race at COTA, Lewis was able to get things back to one hundred percent throughout the week before Road Atlanta, placing his focus on restoration and recovery. >>
