JAKE GAGNE: MOTUL SUPERBIKE
Jake Gagne had a decent start to the 2017 MotoAmerica season at Circuit of the Americas as the Genuine Broaster Chicken Honda rider put the brand new CBR1000 in the top five in his first race on the new machine. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to back it up in the second race after an electronics issue caused the bike to intermittently cut out, forcing Gagne to retire from the race. Although he wasn’t able to collect the points he may have been hoping for at the opening round, the Californian proved the capabilities
of himself and the new bike, providing a solid jumping off point heading into the second round of the season.
