Shane Richardson is mixing up the Superstock 600 class in
the 2017 MotoAmerica season by bringing another dose of
international flavor to the melting pot of American road racing.
The twenty year old out of Wellington, New Zealand is one of the premier competitors in his home country in the Supersport 600cc class. He has decided to make the leap to America in order to contest the 2017 MotoAmerica Superstock 600 Championship aboard a Palmetto Motorsports Kawasaki. Richardson did his fair
at Road Atlanta -- the New Zealander competed in the Daytona 200 and ran an impressive pace for his first time at the circuit, running as high as fifth position, but unfortunately he was forced to retire due to a transmission issue. In continued preparation for his MotoAmerica debut, Richardson also competed at the Talladega WERA Nationals where he captured a victory and two additional podium finishes.
