Haiden Deegan set off to an exceptional start at the fiftieth running of the famed Mammoth Moto- cross event in the moun- tainous landscapes of Mammoth Lakes, Califor- nia. Danger Boy Deegan decided to contest the 65cc Open class as well as the 65cc (10-11) class, claiming heat race vic- tories in both divisions. He cemented himself as one of the favorites for the championship motos with his signature speed and style, tearing up the rich California soil with ease. In the 65cc (10-11) class, Deegan found himself at the back of the pack as the pack stormed through the first corner.
