He stayed up there for a little while until the duo of Musquin and Tomac came storming by several laps in. Bisceglia would also make a move before Wilson decided enough was enough and settled into eighth about halfway through. As the laps started to wind down, Wilson received pressure from Freddy Noren and decided
he was not going to get passed anymore so he started charging forward instead. He passed Bisceglia back and then quickly caught and passed Nicoletti to move back to sixth. He continued his fiery charge up to Weston Peick and forced him to make an error and took over fifth place. Wilson then ran out of time as the moto expired but he showed that he still has that fight and perseverance of a champion. The conditions of the track and weather made the moto all the more impressive and Wilson will look to keep the good vibes going next weekend at Budds Creek.
