Martin was ready to get the series going again on Saturday at Unadilla. He put in a top ten time early on in qualifying and it looked as though he would be a contender for a good result in New York. When the first moto began, Martin got off to a decent start and was running well inside the top ten early on. A couple mistakes would
draw him back to 12th place by the time the red flag waved. When the race restarted, Davalos found himself in a similar position and was running 11th five minutes into the moto. Then, a small mistake dropped him back to 15th in the running order. Davalos bounced around up and down positions and was able to finish in the 11th position. In the second moto, Martin did not get the start he was looking for and was running just outside the top ten early on in the moto. He began to make up some time and had made his way into 9th by the halfway point. In the ten minutes, Martin was able to make up one more spot but another unfortunate red flag would end the race prematurely. He would take 8th overall, one of his best finishes of the season.
