ALEX MARTIN
Alex Martin has been on a steady track of improvement since his debut in 2008. With better and better results each year, he has finally made his way to the top. If it weren’t for a mechanical failure in one of his motos this season, Alex would be sitting very comfortably in 2nd place in points coming into Unadilla. Now, with the shocking news that the two time defending champ, teammate, and brother would not be lining up for
the rest of this season, Alex knows that it is his time to carry the torch for the Martin family. Earlier this season, Alex started off fantastic with a 2nd place overall finish at Hangtown and then a win the very next week at Glen Helen. Coming off a win at the last race in Washington, Alex will be looking to carry the momentum and set his sights on current points leader and teammate, Cooper Webb. The Minnesota native will no doubt continue to get even faster and it will not be surprising if he collects some more wins in the last few races that are left this season.
