BENNY BLOSS
Most riders go through Loretta Lynn’s as an amateur before making the transition to the professional ranks. For you’s who don’t know what Loretta Lynn’s is, well its the most coveted amateur national in the world, the
best of the best race this event to prove themselves worthy of being a professional. There is one reward giving at the event that goes to the rider to show the most promise while moving to the pro ranks, it’s called the Horizon award. In his last year as an amateur Bloss was able to receive the Horizon award and was poised for success entering the professional ranks. Blue Buffalo/ Slator Skins Yamaha had the graduate in their roster but the pair figured it would be best if they split paths and Bloss elected to compete as a privateer. It didn’t take long for the Cycle Trader/ Rock River Yamaha team to offer the young rider a fill in position on the team. One fill in position lead to another, BTO Sports KTM was looking for someone to fill the boots of Davi Millsaps and hired the rookie. Since joining the team Bloss has put in a hell of an effort and although nothing is concrete, it looks like the rookie will have no problem securing a full time ride for 2017.
