HAIDEN DEEGAN
One of Orange Brigade’s most popu- lar and promising young prospects, Haiden Deegan is always one of the fastest and most stylish riders on the track. The little Californian proved that late last year at Gatorback Cycle Park by winning two number one plates at the Thor Winter Olympics while wearing a cape -- does it get any cooler than that? In addition
to his success at Mini O’s in 2017, Deegan also earned the first Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Title of his blossoming career in the 65cc (7-11) class. Not only does Danger Boy
kill it on the race track, but he’s also trouncing the rest of the amateur competition on the social media side of things, and in 2018 that’s all a part of the game. If Deegan is able to come into the spring nationals in the same form that he showed at the end of 2017, he’ll be heading home for Easter with a couple of champi- onships in his pocket.
SETH HAMMAKER
Seth Hammaker burst onto the scene atop the biggest stage in amateur motocross in 2016, beating a handful
of factory supported kids to the Super- mini 1 title aboard a relatively privateer Kawasaki at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch.
The Pennsylvania native continued to impress at the Monster Energy Cup and quickly joined the coveted Team Green Kawasaki team in order to ease his transition into the B class. Since making the step up onto the big bike, Ham- maker has continued to improve with no signs of slowing down. The seventeen year old quickly proved himself as a regular podium threat throughout spring nationals and stood out as the only rider to beat Garrett Marchbanks in the B class at Loretta Lynn’s. Hammaker ended the year with a pair of titles at Mini O’s, solidifying himself as one of the top prospects graduating to the
A class. Although he encountered an injury setback while racing Arenacross in January, he’ll be back on the gate when the racing gets underway for spring nationals.
