JESSE FLOCK
Jesse Flock started the 2017 season as a newly acquired member of the EBR Performance | Altus Motorsports | Yamaha team, collecting an array of solid finishes throughout the spring nationals. Flock finished in the top five in seven of the nine classes that he contested in the month of March, finishing on the podium on multiple occasions at Oak Hill and the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship. The Oklahoma native put it on for the hometown crowd at Junior Moto X by winning the 125 (12-18) class, proving his prowess on a supercross track. He was more prepared to do battle at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch than ever before in his career, skipping out on the MX Master Kids in France in order to concentrate on winning his first Loretta Lynn’s National Title. Unfortunately, his week at the Ranch was over before it began as he hit the ground in his very first moto, breaking his collarbone in the process. Flock returned to action at The Motoplayground Race at Ponca City in fairly unstoppable form, winning the number one plate in three out of four classes that he contested. The Oklahoma native carried that momentum into Mini O’s where he won another number one plate on the supercross track before round- ing out the year with an additional five podiums. It’s unclear exactly what his plans are for the 2018 season as he showed up at the Monster Energy Supercross in Tampa on a Kawasaki, but it’s safe to say that Flock will be mixing it up at the front of the B class no matter his program.
