AIDEN TIJERO
Aiden Tijero was arguably one of the most impressive riders that contested the spring events in any one of the various age groups and classifications that are present in amateur motocross. The Californian lined up on the gate at the Daytona RCSX, Spring A Ding Ding, and the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship; winning multiple titles at all three events. It was clear from the very first day of racing at Daytona that Tijero was going to be tough to beat as his confidence on the bike was reflected in his speed and style. He rarely had any setbacks on the starts and put himself in contention for the win
at every opportunity, eventually taking the number one plate in both 250 B Limited and Schoolboy 1. His results at Spring A Ding Ding were even more impressive as he won five out of six motos with an additional second place finish, combining for two number one plates. A couple of days later at Free- stone, Tijero began the campaign to add more number one plates to his burgeoning collection, winning six out of eight motos that he raced. The Orange Brigade backed rider won three out of four classes that he entered, bringing his total tally of championships in the month of March to seven.
