KAED KNIFFING
Kaed Kniffing backed up his success at the beginning of the 2018 racing season over the course of the spring events, landing on the overall podium a total of six times between the Daytona RCSX and the JS7 Freestone Spring Champi- onship. The Rides Unlimited/BTO Sports Racing backed rider found the majority of his success in the Schoolboy 1 and 125cc classes, although he found the opportunity to prove his speed on the KTM 250 as well. The two days of racing at Daytona were kind to the Californian, producing a third place in the School- boy 1 main event as well as a number one plate in the 125cc (12+) class. He backed up his results at the first annual Spring A Ding Ding a couple of days later, finishing five out of eight motos that he contested in the top five on his way to a total of three overall podium finishes. Kniffing was able to carry the momen- tum into Freestone, regularly running up front aboard his KTM 125 as he bagged two third place moto finishes as well as
a moto win in the Schoolboy 1 class on the final day of racing, earning a second place overall in the process.
CULLIN PARK
Cullin Park staked his claim to the Motoplayground Dirty 100 with a pair of exceptional performances at the Daytona RCSX in early March. The Floridian was clearly feeling confi- dent on home soil, failing to finish off the podium on the first day of com- petition at the World Center of Rac- ing. Monday morning brought on the main events and Park backed up his speed from day one, finishing sec- ond overall aboard his YZ125 in the Schoolboy 1 and 125 (12+) class. Although he never found his way back to the overall podium at the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship just one week later, Park still managed
a third place moto finish in Texas as well as an additional top five moto finish, consequently piecing together a trio of top ten overall finishes in the various classes that he entered.
