GAGE LINVILLE
Gage Linville has proven his speed on the 125 throughout multiple instances so far throughout the 2018 racing season, most notably in the 125cc (12+) class at the Daytona RCSX where he grabbed a third place overall finish. The Georgia native finished every moto that he raced at the World Center of Racing inside the top ten, including three top five finishes and two podiums. His consistency was paramount in the 125cc (12+) class, recording a third place in both his heat race and main event. The KTM rider moved onto the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship in Wortham, Texas in an attempt to hunt down more podium finishes, but he wasn’t able to match the consis- tency he showed in Florida. Nonethe- less, Linville still managed two moto finishes inside the top three on his KTM 125, proving that he’s got what it takes to run up front when all the cards fall into place.
GARRETT MARCHBANKS
Despite an on-track altercation that
saw him disqualified from the Open
Pro Sport class at the Daytona RCSX and placed on AMA probation, Garrett Marchbanks had a relatively perfect
pair of races during the spring events. The Team Green Kawasaki rider put together two first place finishes in the 250 A class at the World Center of Racing, taking the number one plate with relative ease ahead of his competi- tors. Things got interesting in the Open Pro Sport class as Marchbanks came together with Carter Halpain in a corner and the conflict escalated as the two rid- ers exited the track following the check- ered flag. Nonetheless, Marchbanks put the conflict behind him and reset for the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship, winning four out of six motos on his way to two number one plates in 250 A and Open Pro Sport. The Utah native was practically untouchable when he pulled the holeshot and his speed while com- ing through the pack was nothing short of impressive, solidifying himself as the top dog in the A class.
