Team Dunlop Elite’s Casey Cochran got off on the right foot at the Daytona RCSX, winning both of his heat races on the first day of racing at the world renowned motorsports theatre. The Suzuki backed rider dominated the 85cc ranks on Sunday and contin- ued his winning ways on Monday, claiming the number one plate in
the (9-11) class with an outstanding performance. Following the festivi- ties in Florida, Cochran moved onto Underground MX for Spring A Ding Ding where he captured two more overall podium finishes in the 85cc ranks, scoring a third in the (9-11) Limited class and a second in the (9- 12) class. The following week at the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship, the Georgia native continued to fight for position at the top of the order. He scored three more top five finishes in his respective motos throughout the rest of the week, including a second place in the 85cc (9-11) Limited class which amounted to a fourth place overall.
JORDAN RENFRO
Jordan Renfro showed some undeniable speed in the 85cc classes at the Daytona RCSX, starting the opening day of racing with a second and fifth place finish aboard his KTM. The young rider out of Georgia backed it up on the second day of action at the World Center of Racing, and showed his skills on a supercross track. Renfro earned a third place finish in the 85cc (9-11) class ahead of some speedy competition, gathering some momentum for the JS7 Free- stone Spring Championship in the process. The KTM rider continued to show speed and consistency in the 85cc (9-11) division, recording a pair of solid sixth place finishes as a result of both motos.
