SETH DENNIS
The transition from the 51cc division to the 65cc classes has been a smooth one so far for Team Dunlop Elite’s Seth Den- nis. The young Florida native continued to dominate the mini ranks throughout the spring events, capturing six separate number one plates between the Daytona RCSX, Spring A Ding Ding, and the
JS7 Freestone Spring Championship. The Orange Brigade backed rider’s consistency throughout all of his classes is the most impressive part about his campaign throughout March, finishing first or second overall in every class but two. Although he isn’t at the stage where he’s reigning in consistent podiums on the KTM 65, Dennis has already found an immense level of comfortability on
the bigger bike. He won the 65cc (7-9) Limited class at Spring A Ding Ding and placed second in the 65cc (7-9) class at Freestone, proving to the older com- petitors that he’ll be at the front for the remainder of the season.
JONATHAN GETZ
Throughout the multiple amateur motocross races that occurred during the month of March, it seemed that Jonathan Getz always found his way to the podium each time he took to the track. The young Floridian laid down solid performances throughout both days of racing at the Daytona RCSX, making marginal improvements in the main events. Getz finished all three classes that he entered within the
top five overall, scoring a pair of third place finishes in the 51cc divisions. He took another step in the right direction as he moved onto Under- ground MX for Spring A Ding Ding, grabbing a golden number one plate and a spiffy mustache on the podium of the 65cc (7-9) class. In addition to the championship, Getz managed two second overalls in the 51cc divisions, further bolstering his reputation as
one of the fastest in the class. Things didn’t go as planned in the smaller divisions at the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship, but Getz made up for it in the 65cc classes with three overall podium finishes, capping off the month of March in style.
