COLLIN ALLEN
Collin Allen is another one of the Under- ground MX squad that had the honor
to defend his territory at the inaugural Spring A Ding Ding in early March.
The Texas native competed in various 85cc classes throughout the weekend, amounting to a total of eight motos. Mi- raculously, the KTM rider finished three fourths of his races in the top three, racking up three third place finishes
and two seconds. His impressive speed and consistency on each day of racing awarded him with three second place overall finishes and a trio of champagne spraying celebrations, placing him in high spirits heading to Freestone. The same aggression and determination
on the bike was present once the gate dropped at the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship as he got off to a solid start in his first motos. Allen collected a podium finish in the 85cc (9-12) class and recorded a couple more top fives, but a problem in the second set of motos would end his week early.
ETHAN MANN
Ethan Mann started off his spring cam- paign at the first annual Spring A Ding Ding at Underground MX, contesting
four different B classes aboard an EBR backed Yamaha ride. The Texas native had a couple of inconsistent results, but the majority of the weekend he ended up finishing within the top six against a high- ly competitive field. Mann’s best finishes came in the 250 B division where he put together two consistent top five finishes, adjoining to produce a third place overall. A couple of days later, he made the short journey up the road to Freestone County Raceway and the Texas native picked up the pace once the gate dropped on the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship. He finished two thirds of his moto within the top five, finding his way onto the podium in the 250 B Limited class with a third place finish in his first moto. Mann was able to keep his results more consistent throughout the week, allowing him to finish fourth overall in 450 B Limited and fifth overall in the 250 B Limited division.
