Carson Mumford’s spring got off to a solid start at the Daytona RCSX, clicking off a couple of moto wins on the first day of action at the World Center
of Racing. The AMSOIL | Factory Connection Honda rider laid down two heat race wins in 250 B Limited and Schoolboy 2, proving his speed on the CR250F. Unfortunately, things didn’t go his way in the main events but the Californian was aware that he had the potential to run up front after the
first motos. The Team Dunlop alum moved onto Spring A Ding Ding where he rediscovered the top step of the podium in both 250 B and Schoolboy 2, combining a couple of second place finishes and a victory in order to grab a couple of number one plates. The week at Freestone didn’t go exactly as planned for the Californian, but he still maintained his podium pace throughout. The Honda rider finished in the top three a handful of times and achieved a fourth overall in the 250 B Limited class, but a DNF in the Schoolboy 2 division ended his week early.
