JORDAN JARVIS
A household name in the motocross industry for years, Jordan Jarvis
came into Daytona 2018, looking to
do her best, on the largest of scales. She wanted the hardest, most brutal competition, doing so much as to sign up and race in the 250 A class! Her true speed was shown in the WMX (16+) division, where a fourth place start had her situated in the back of the fastest group; yet she would set the quickest time, near the halfway point. Mustering all of the effort she could, her final re- sult would be an applaud-worthy, fourth overall. She would again venture into dangerous waters, at the Freestone Amateur Championship, signing up for both the College Sportsman, and 250
A Pro Sport Class, along with the WMX Pro division. People couldn’t believe their eyes, she was ascending into
the top ten for the Collegeboy, walking away with 8th overall! She would reiter- ate her dominance in the WMX Pro class, where a one-one sweep, would literally be all she wrote, as the week would conclude. She’s an absolute force to be reckon with, and the month of March did nothing but reiterate the fact that she could carry a dominant reign for some time.
KYLIE FASNACHT
Home grown, and embodying the aspect of the home-court feel, Kylie Fasnacht ventured north to Daytona, looking to show off her skills for all of the industry to see. She too signed up for 250 A, show- ing no lapse of courage, but really put all of her focus into the WMX (16+) division. It was here, where both she and Hannah Hodges would go back and forth, all moto long, leaving the fans on their feet. She would play the alpha, surviving the storm that Hodges created, and making the move in the dwindling laps. It was all she could do to hang on, but she would do it, taking home that highly coveted, number one plate. She knew she would have her hands full with stiff competition, as she rolled into the JS7 Spring Championship. However, she lined up, full of courage, ready to fight and battle with the best. She would do so, neck and neck with Jor- dan Jarvis, just narrowly missing out on the win, placing second. This WMX Pro division is as talent-filled as it’s been in years, and Kylie is becoming a true force to reckon with. She sports the number one for a reason, and plans to keep it on her background for as long as possible.
