SHAWN MAFFENBEIER
Shawn is a veteran in the 250 class in Canada. With many years under his belt in Canadian LilMaff he has found himself competing for wins and podiums throughout much of his career. For the last couple of years Maff was apart of the Rockstar OTSFF Factory Yamaha team but the team went
to a full 450 team in 2016 and Shawn was looking for support. It didn’t take long for the Big Steel Box / Fly / Redemption Racing Ktm to pick up the Veteran. Shawn was the only rider to hold the red plate in the 250 class other than the newly crowned champ Cole Thompson. Maffenbeier had his best year of racing in 2016, finishing a strong runner up position in the CMRC series. 2016 was not only Maffs best year of racing but it will mark his first year representing his country at the prestigious MXON at Maggiora Mx Park in Italy come September.
