Unfortunately Austin did go down this time and he had to take his time to get his bike off of the ground
because he had to make sure that the clutch was pulled in so that he wouldn’t stall the engine. Austin was
able to get himself back up and going and still landed on the podium. 1-3 moto scores where more than enough for Austin to get the overall at Ironman. This kid has got what it takes to be a great. He has finished his first season healthy, he finished 4th in the championship standings just 7 points off of 3rd place Joey Savatgy. He’s got podiums, he has wins, he has the team and he has the work ethic. Even though Austin is a rookie and we have yet to see him race a supercross event, be prepared because rumours are this kid rocks on the indoor style tracks.
