AUSTIN FORKNER
Nicknamed Farmboy, Austin Forkner is the best rookie we have seen in a lot of years. He started racing in 2003
at the age of 5 and was hooked instantly. Mr. And Mrs. Forkner both have racing experience, Mike in dirt biking,
and Julie in barrel racing on horseback and their competitiveness grew in the veins of young Austin. 7 years later in 2010 we see Austin as the cream of the crop in the Mini bike class and received factory support from Team Green Kawasaki as a factory supported rider. Dominating the field in the amateur ranks, Pro Circuit Kawasaki, Austins parents, and himself set a plan to make the step to the professional ranks for 2016. Daytona amateur SX, and Freestone were Austins final two amateur events and he competed in the Open Pro Sport class on a 250f and the 250A class. Forkner won the final 4 championships of his phenomenal amateur career and was poised to be a front runner in his first year as a professional. Austin trains down in Oklahoma at Reynard Training Complex, Owned and operated by former pro Robbie Reynard with some of the best riders in the AMA Circuit. The Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider is also close to Ricky Carmichael and has had lots of words of wisdom shared to him before his career started. All the pieces to the puzzle are there and Austin has put the border on. Lets see this kid fill in the picture for all of us moto fans to witness.
