JERRY ROBIN
Jerry Robin is a widely known motorcycle rider from Minnesota, where he notoriously qualified for Loretta Lynn’s aboard his trusty 1985 CR 250 in 2013. This was the same bike that Jerry started out on just six years prior. He ended up winning the 2 Stroke B/C title at Loretta’s that year on a
borrowed 2007 CR 250 after the ’85 retired itself in practice. The attention did a number of things for the
16 year old and he was even picked up by Geico Honda’s amateur program. Things didn’t exactly work out and Jerry then hung up the boots for a while. That is until recently, when he decided to join the GNCC series for 2016. Unfortunately, injury temporarily halted his riding once again. After Robin healed up, he put in just 8 days of riding and headed to Loretta Lynn’s to try for another championship. Another title seemed inevitable for the naturally talented kid and indeed it was. He took home the 250 All Star A/B title and was picked up by Blue Buffalo to make his pro debut and race the last three Lucas Oil nationals this season. So far Jerry has nearly made top twenty overall at both races but has the potential for much more. At Budds Creek, Jerry had made his way up to 12th place before suffering an asthma attack. This kid will no doubt be ready to finish out this amazing opportunity strong in Indiana.
