A WINSLOW

>> A freight train of Yamahas lead the roaring pack of 250s down into the gator pit on the opening lap. Austin Winslow grabbed the early advantage ahead of Dar Comfort with Luke Neese and Justin Rodbell closely in tow. Winslow began to increase his advantage at the front as the battle for 2nd place closed up between the ensuing Yamahas. Carson Brown battled back from a mediocre start that put him way outside the top 5. He had worked his way up to the rear of the leading Yamaha group by the end of lap 2; he immedi- ately began to look for passing lanes on the blu cru ahead of him. Neese and Rodbell found their way around Comfort, putting the pressure on Brown to follow them through in order to keep his podium hopes alive. Meanwhile, Winslow had built his gap to approximately 5 seconds just before
the the white flag signaled the commencement of final lap; he rode comfortably to the checkered flag after a dominant performance. The podium order behind him didn’t change as Neese and Rodbell finished on the box, making it a Yamaha 1-2-3. The overall result was the same as the podium as the 250 B Limited class came to a close with a Yamaha sweep, Winslow dominated proceedings with back-to-back 1st place finishes.
