>> The #75 Kawasaki of Evan Ferry rocketed out of the gate to a massive holeshot ahead of fellow Kawasaki riders of Nick Romano and Justin Allen. Matthew LeBlanc was in 4th place on his KTM as he looked to find a way around Allen
in order to not let the leading duo get too far away. Romano forced his way up the inside of Ferry on the 2nd lap as the two of them sped through the whoops section side-by-side. Meanwhile, LeBlanc made the move onto the podium just behind them. He wasted no time catching up to the leading duo as the Louisiana native stuffed his KTM up the inside of Ferry’s Kawasaki after the dinner table. The two of them bat- tled intensely for a couple of corners which allowed Romano to build a gap of about 3 seconds as he crossed the finish line for the penultimate lap. Over the span of one lap, LeB- lanc wiped away the gap to Romano which set up a grand- stand finish in the second moto of the day. They were neck and neck through the whoops section, but Romano owned the inside line and held off the charge if only for a moment. LeBlanc set up a pass around the outside right in front of the announcers tower and stole the win away at the least breath of the moto, securing the overall victory in the process
