>> It was another trio of Yamahas at the front of the field
as Riley Blue lead the pack ahead of Stetson Johnson and Shane Donlon. Blue put forth everything in order to try and grab an advantage over the rest of the pack, but the racing remained tight in the battle for the lead. Donlon moved his way into 2nd position as Brandon Yates hounded Johnson in 3rd place, attempting to break up the Yamaha party on the podium. Donlon had the overall podium wrapped up as they ran, but he wasn’t content with 2nd place. He pulled along- side Blue as the two of them were involved in a drag race
up to the finish line jump; Donlon simply held the throttle on for a little bit longer as he launched into the lead up out of the gator pit. The Triangle Cycles Yamaha backed rider set the fastest lap of the race with the clear track in front of him as he enjoyed a decent advantage back to the battle for 2nd with one lap to go. Blue maintained his composure as he had a small advantage over Dakota Craig and Brandon Yates at the line. Donlon took the victory as well as the championship with Yates and Craig rounding out the overall podium.
