>> Kyle Smith put his Rides Unlimited rocket ship into an early lead ahead of fellow KTM riders of Dakota Aldredge and Marcello Leodorico. Smith set off at the front of the pack, putting his head down whilst attempting to build a lead ahead of his pursuers. Leodorico and Aldredge were stuck in a tight battle to determine the order of the remaining podium posi- tions, but the two of them only facilitated Smith’s getaway
at the front of the field. Smith had created a 2.5 second gap by the time they crossed the finish line for the third time. Meanwhile, Leodorico had found his away around his KTM comrade of Aldredge, immediately setting his sights on the leader. He attempted to close the gap little by little as the race wound down, but the young Georgian in the lead had done enough in the early stages to build a comfortable lead. The pressure from the Floridian in 2nd place forced Smith into clocking his fastest lap of the race on his last circula- tion around the course. The Rides Unlimited rider remained steadfast and and consistent as he pushed the gap back up to over 3 seconds as he crossed the finish line in command- ing fashion. He secured the moto win as well as 1st place overall; Leodorico and Parker Ross rounded out the overall podium.
