>> Jordan Jarvis got out to a 2nd place start just behind the Kawasaki rider of Valentina Galaz and just ahead of fellow blu cru member, Jazzmyn Canfield. Jarvis crossed the finish line for the first time just under half a second behind Galaz, putting herself in the position to capture the lead at the first sight of any opening. The opportunity came on the very next lap as Jarvis forced her Triangle Cycles backed Yamaha into the lead and put the hammer down immediately following
the overtaking maneuver. The North Carolina native brought her Yamaha across the finish line for the second time with a newly accumulated gap of over a second. She set the fastest time of the entire moto in the process as her blinding pace demoralized the competition. Jarvis kept her head down and turned a practically identical lap time on the following lap, securing a healthy margin back to Galaz which allowed her to cruise to the finish and claim her first win of the motocross segment. Jarvis put herself in an optimal position to fight for the overall victory, but it won’t be without pressure from the Kawasaki of Galaz.
