>> Tyler Evans came away with the holeshot in the first heat of the Schoolboy 1 class, but Marcus Phelps was able to put an aggressive pass on the Yamaha rider as they dropped down into the gator pit to begin the lap. Jesse Flock didn’t waste much time working his way into 2nd position as he scrubbed past Evans on their way over the dinner table. Colton Eigenmann managed to work his way into 3rd place and the three leaders began to spread out over the course of the next couple laps. Flock was able to match the speed of the MTF backed rider of Phelps at the front of the pack, but he lost crucial time to the KTM rider at the very beginning of the first lap. Phelps was riding with a level of intensity that was hard to match by any of his competitors; he scrubbed harder than any of his rivals and he was able to carry on with the same style in order to narrowly beat Flock to the check- ered flag by a multi-second gap.
