>> Will Garrison grabbed the holeshot ahead of Team Green Kawasaki’s Garrett Marchbanks and Yamaha’s Marco Can- nella. Marchbanks put a pass on Garrison as the two of them sped through the rollers section. The Utah native immedi- ately began to sprint away from the rest of the pack as he began to turn fastest lap after fastest lap. The Yamaha duo of Cannella and Luke Neese were able to work their way into podium positions as Garrison dropped back through the field. The two of them began to spread out over the remainder of the race, but there was not nearly as much time between them as Marchbanks had accumulated at the front of the pack. The Kawasaki rider dominated the field, never looking back once he found himself in the lead. Marchbanks will be one to watch in the battle for the overall as he’ll have a prime gate pick for the next race.
