JOSH HAYES
JOSH HAYES : MOTUL SUPERBIKE
The Monster Energy/Yamalube/
Yamaha rider still held on for his first podium of the season, but the
speed that he showed in order to
get there was the biggest positive to
draw from his performance.
VIRGINIA!
VIRgInIa InternatIonal
Raceway
“I GOT A LITTLE WORRIED WHEN CAMERON GOT OUT FRONT, BUT IT’S REALLY EASY TO MAKE THAT MISTAKE THAT HE MADE, AND HE GAVE US A LITTLE BIT OF A GIFT”
Hayes was pushing for the win in the
second race and ended up taking
a tumble through the gravel trap, but it was still a positive weekend for the veteran considering the pace he showed all the way from Friday to Sunday. The Mississippian will be feeling confident heading into the third round of the 2017 MotoAmerica series at VIRginia International Raceway where he’s accumulated six pole positions
and eleven victories throughout his career, winning three out of the last four races contested at the track. Hayes is aiming to continue his exceptional form at VIR in order to close the gap to the leaders and bring new life back into his chase for the championship as he fights for his fifth Superbike title. >>
