Danny Eslick has had a season of ups and downs throughout the 2017 MotoAmerica series thus far. The Oklahoma native proved himself in the preseason with his third victory at the Daytona 200, but things have not been ideal for the TOBC Racing team since then. They experienced issues at the Dunlop test at Circuit of the Americas that left Eslick with little to no track time and put them behind the eight ball heading into the first round of the season. Fortunately, they made lots of progress throughout the weekend in order to land in third place on the Superstock 1000 podium
in the second race. The thirty year old has been able to use his experience in the series and his knowledge of the tracks to put himself in the battle for the podium at both rounds thus far, as
he battled his way to a second place finish in the final race of
the weekend at Road Atlanta. Eslick was able to power through some nagging physical issues that were holding him back from his full potential and earn his second podium finish of the season, moving one spot further up the box with each passing round.
In 2016, Eslick scored his best result of the season at VIRginia International Raceway with a victory in the second race. His growing comfortability on the motorcycle in addition to his past results at the circuit will certainly make him one of the contenders for the podium when the lights go out at VIR.
