Daytona Anderson experienced a weekend of racing at Road
the entire weekend in Georgia and was far from his normal self during the second and third races of the season. The nineteen year old scored his best finish of the season at Circuit of the Americas during the opening round of the 2017 MotoAmerica Championship with a fifth place finish behind some real heavy hitters. Despite his
illness during the second round of the series, Anderson managed to salvage a handful of valuable points that allowed him to remain in sixth position overall, only ten points back from Brandon Paasch. The California native will be eager to redeem himself after performing well below his expectations due to the illness, setting himself up for a major improvement at the third round of the series at VIR.
