SERGIO RODRIGUEZ II : KTM RC 390 CUP
Sergio Rodriguez II developed a passion for motorcycles at the young age of five years old after spinning laps on a Honda CRF50. It wasn’t long until he made the transition to road bikes and he began to move up the ladder -- from a Honda NSR50, to a Honda RS125, and eventually a Ninja 250. Rodriguez II has been wildly successful in recent years as an amateur on the American road racing scene, clinching championships in the WERA E Superstock National Championship as well as the WERA W Superstock National Championship. He has decided to make the move to MotoAmerica for the 2017 season, competing in the series for the first time. At the opening round of the KTM RC390 Cup at Road Atlanta, the Californian came away with eight points after a couple of hard fought finishes.
