>> Keith Tucker has dabbled in pro motocross racing for the last couple years and is now embarking into the Supercross division. Keith made
his way through the Arenacross program and is now doing his best to compete with the elite riders of Supercross. Having never competed in a Supercross Main Event, Keith was clearly motivated as practice began in Detroit. He looked quick and would go on to the races with some much- needed confidence. When the gate dropped for 250 Heat 1, the #641
got a decent jump and did his best to keep his bike on two wheels as the riders tip-toed through the first couple corners. Keith was counted in 11th as the riders made their way to the green flag and he was determined to make some passes. In the first lap, he was able to slip by three of the rid- ers in front of him. The impressive moves stuck, as he held on all the way to the finish as he punched his ticket to his first ever Main Event. Keith had an excellent gate pick for the Main but did not quite get the jump that he was hoping for. Luckily, a pile up on the outside allowed Keith to make up a numerous amount of positions as he made his way around the in- side of the first corner. Keith managed to make his way all the way up to 7th by lap two and was looking to have a very successful first ever Main Event. He managed to hold on to the spot for many laps until a costly mistake caused him to lose many positions. He got back going just out- side the top fifteen and was now in salvage mode for the rest of the race. He would go on to finish an impressive 17th in his firstever Supercross race. Look for Keith to turn some heads as the season continues.
