TYLER BOWERS
“Take me out to the ball game, take me out with the crowd.” Written by a native of Indianapolis, Albert Von Tilzer, the song is familiarized amongst millions with America’s
pastime, baseball. In Supercross, however, the tune can be heard whenever the 53 is near, as the soft keys of the original melody are overtaken by a roar of
a yelling Kawasaki 250f, accompanied by a slamming of competitors off the race track.
The Arenacross star of season’s past has translated his bar-banging antics of
the confined layouts to the stadiums of Supercross, and all in all, it seems to work out fairly well.
He’s established visual imagery with his personal brand, garnering attention
of both Mitch Payton and
his peers. Payton praises the way he fights for every position on the track, while many who compete against him despise his aggressive style. It’s a case of damned if you do, damned if you don’t, and it appears as though at the end of the day, Bowers will do whatever necessary to gain a better position.
