Jason Anderson squeezes in tight and bangs bars with Ryan dungey to the first turn of the heat race. As the two battle, Justin Brayton blasts onward into the lead. In lap two Anderson makes a move on Brayton with a smooth pass, separating himself from Ryan dungey and the rest of the pack. As the race closes in on the final lap, Anderson and dungey ride close – much to the excitement of the crowd -- but Anderson manages to hold
him off just long enough to take the heat race win.
As an epic battle between the leaders would rage on ahead of him – the crowd may have missed Jason Anderson’s incredible charge. After the first turn, Anderson would find himself swept up in ninth place. His game face would be enabled off the gate, staying collected in a tight battle with Blake Baggett, holding steady as the two banged bars and bumped knees. suddenly, his battle with Baggett also included mike Alessi, but Anderson
charged through and made his way around both riders to grab sixth.
