MARVIN MUSQUIN
marvin musquin is enjoying one of the better rookie 450 seasons we have seen in recent years. The Factory Red Bull KTm rider has gotten better and better in each year he has raced
in the united states. When he first arrived from France, he was a solid top ten rider but he was not satisfied. KTM stood with him and supported him on his grind to the top. After that first season he consistently got better but injuries held him back from reaching the very top. Then finally last year in his final season on a 250 he put all the pieces together. He absolutely dominated the East Coast series winning all but two races and in those two races he came away with second places finishes. It was his first AMA championship and the perfect send off to his first 450 season. He didn’t have the best start to the season finishing no better than ninth in the first three rounds but he found his groove with a third place in Oakland. Since then he
has been a different rider, nearly capturing a win in Atlanta before a late race bobble. Musquin has truly been impressive this
season and has definitely surprised a lot of people.
