With the weight of the sport on his shoulders, Ryan Dungey seems to tread across all obstacles with ease, remaining poised and displaying an admirable amount of leadership to all who follow
him. Not only does he have the pressure of winning championships, but he packs the torch of motocross into mainstream culture, carrying one of the brightest flames in recent memory. Appearing on numerous tabloids, television shows, and award ceremonies, Dungey sustains an image of professionalism that sheds positive light on our niche-driven passion. He attracts fans with every second of publicity, and should be recognized as a true ambassador of what our sport should represent. With all of that being said, Dungey knows how to flip the switch, and shift his mindset from a clean-cut representative, to a relentless war- ready mercenary in the matter of seconds. He looks to become the latter once the gate drops in San Bernardino, and take the almighty title of alpha from Ken Roczen as the series continues on.
