For moto two, RD5 smashed through the gearbox with dyer intentions, and captured a near holeshot following the first turn. Seeming to lunge for the white stripe with ease, a sudden blur of Yellow blitzed by and overtook the lead from the Minnesota native in an instant. Rocze yet again displayed a no-non- sense type of attitude in admirable fashion, leaving Dungey in a cloud of both dust and discontent-
ment. A two horse race throughout the laps that followed, Dungey had a series of options running across his mind for the remainder of the moto. “Should I risk crashing and overtaking the lead when I have the overall? Or forfeit the moto win and momentum to my largest counterpart in the series?” The latter was chosen, as Dungey, although displaying an outstanding pace, just couldn’t seem to match the precision that the number 94 sat. He remained close and ready to pounce at any moment, but the veteran held his championship mental- ity near, and would reside here until the end of the moto; knowing he had the overall. With a war of orange and yellow looming in the distance, Dungey looks to continue his consistent ways as the tour continues on, letting the chips fall as they may, and hopefully cashing out following the final round.
