#800 Mike Alessi- It looked as if Mr. Holeshot is starting
to get his starts back under him this tonight, nearly get-
ting the holeshot in 2 our of 3 motos. In his heat race Mike would get a great launch off the gate but held the throttle on to long and got pushed off the track in the first turn leaving him in 11th after the first lap. Mike was only able to get himself to 10th place and was headed to the Semi’s. In the Semi M. Alessi got the holeshot aboard his Smartop MCR Suzuki and lead until the end of lap 3 when he bobbled in a corner handing the lead to Peick. Trey Canard quickly followed the JGR rider and pushed Mike back to 3rd where he would finish and qualify to the main event. With an uncharacteristic start in the main event mike would finish lap one a the back of the pack. On lap 4 Mike would drop back to last position before crawling himself back to 19th at the checkers.
