A tough start in his heat race left him dicing through the pack. Joey passed 7
riders with authority finishing 2nd to Geico Honda’s Christian Craig. As the main event got under way, Savagty found himself in 2nd place behind his teammate Chris Alldredge. After Alldredge pulled off the track on lap 3 due to a bike malfunction, the battle was on between Webb and Savagty. The racing was so close you could throw a blanket over the two championship contenders. Having an answer for every pass attempt Cooper Webb made, he would weather the storm as Cooper washed out his front end on lap 6. From that point on Joey had a comfortable lead and rode a steady race to the finish. Grabbing his second win of the season and gaining the points lead. With only a few rounds left, Joey holds a three point lead over Cooper Webb.
