Slower is faster?
We have heard the popular phrase over and over “we can work with speed!” Well, Mitchell
Oldenburg sure has no problem with speed. Hanging it out for an entire race without crashing has been the issue at hand for Oldenburg. When riders have this struggle, team owners tell
them to actually slow down and ride at a comfortable pace that they can maintain throughout the
race. You would think slowing down and riding more cautious would hurt the riders results. This
is not the case for Mitchell Oldenburg. Riding more consistent the past couple of weekends, Mitchell has logged in back to back 4th place finishes. Landing just shy of the podium while “holding back.” The guidance and equipment of the Troy Lee Designs KTM team may be the key to success Mitchell’s future.
