The ever so creative Troy Lee had his rider Mitchell Oldenburg dressed in
stars and stripes forMilitary Appreciation night in San Diego. Starting the day quali- fying 5th overall in practice, Mitchell looked confident and ready for the night show. A bad start in his heat race left Mitchell barried in the pack. He made his way forward with authority and worked his way up to 4th place in 6 short laps. Oldenburg put himself in a similar situation in the main event, crossing the finish in 11th on lap one. As the main event continued Mitchell kept pushing forward and made his way to 6th place before running out of laps. We are seeing a much more consistent Mitchell
Oldenburg as this marks his fifth top ten finish of the season.
