There weren’t too many races throughout the course of the 2018 season that Pierce Brown attended where he didn’t have the fastest lap of the week/weekend, let alone the fastest lap in the B class. Costly mistakes robbed him of
a title at the Loretta Lynn Amateur National Motocross Championship, but it was more than apparent to everyone at the Ranch this past year that he was the fastest rider on the gate. The Utah native clocked the fastest time of anyone throughout the entire week of racing, including the A class, and he personally held more than half of the ten fastest laps clocked. It was the same story at Mammoth Mountain Motocross as Brown was on pace with some
of the top riders in the A class, and he was doing so on an underpowered 250 compared to their 450s. Disregarding the nine titles that he collected over in the B class throughout 2018, the Orange Brigade backed rider is just plain fast. He moved up to the A class at the end of the season and immediately got off to winning ways, taking a duo of main event wins during the supercross portion of Mini Os, but
a concussion that he sustained on the outdoor track ended his week early. Nonetheless, the KTM rider is one of the top talents in the A class and one of the most highly touted riders that will be making the jump into 250SX in the coming years. Although he missed Monster
