top contender at Monster Energy Cup. The KTM rider was slated as one of the favorites in the Schoolboy 1 division and he was determined to back up the hype as he got prepared for his heat race. One of his best traits on the smaller bike was his execution out of the starting gate, often- times pulling the holeshot by multiple bike lengths over his competition, displaying reaction times that would make Spider-Man shake his head in disbelief. It was more than evident that Varize didn’t lose any of his holeshot magic as he propelled himself out of the gate to an early lead in the Schoolboy 1 heat race, immediately focusing on fast and consistent laps from the front of the
