Carson Mumford has established himself
as one of the regular title contenders in the upper-echelon of amateur motocross com- petitors throughout the years, garnering him support from well-respected teams such as Team Green Kawasaki and AMSOIL | Factory Connection Honda. The 2018 season wasn’t his most successful, but the Californian still performed at the top of the B class from start to finish. He captured a pair of titles at Spring A Ding Ding in March and continued his win- ning ways at the California Classic in April, but he wasn’t done there. Mumford also grabbed the number one plate in the Open B class at Mammoth Motocross and he captured the
third Loretta Lynn Amateur National Motocross Championship of his budding career in the 250 B Limited class, sweeping all three motos in the process. Mumford jumped up to the A class at the Motoplayground Race at Ponca City and immediately showed his speed, finishing both 250 A and Open Pro on the overall podium. Shortly thereafter, he proved his ability on the main stage of amateur supercross competi- tion at Monster Energy Cup, finishing in eighth place overall in the Amateur All-Stars class. Fast forward to 2019 and Mumford has a new list of challenges to accomplish and obstacles to overcome in the A class, starting with the opening round of the Supercross Futures in
