It’s safe to say that Jordan Jarvis had the best year of her career in 2018. She won the AMA Female Racer of the Year award and there wasn’t anyone else that deserved it more. The North Carolina native competed in the WMX Championship for the first time and came away with the title in fairly domi- nant fashion and she conquered the Women (12+) class at the Loretta Lynn Amateur National Motocross Championship. She was the only rider to compete in the Amateur All-Stars division at the Monster Energy Cup and she oftentimes mixed it up with the top riders in the A class at some of the various
major races throughout the season. She ended the year with a number one plate in the Women (12+) class at Mini Os, bringing 2018 to an end on a high note. She’s always one of the favorites anytime she lines up on the gate in the Women’s division and Jarvis was clearly headed to State Farm Stadium for the opening round of Supercross Fu- tures to claim the number one spot, but it wouldn’t be easy. The competition was stiff in the Women’s class and Jarvis would be pitted against one of her closest rivals from the past couple of years, Tayler Allred.
