practice as she looked immediately comfortable on the supercross track, conquering the treacher- ous rhythm sections with no afflictions while mastering the slippery Arizona soil. The North Caroli- na native also contested the 250SX Futures class where she collected an eleventh place finish in her heat race, but her main focus was on the Women class as she had a good opportunity of tak- ing the number one plate back to the east coast. The heat race in the Women’s division produced an exceptional battle between Jarvis and Allred as the two of them shot out of the gate to the front of the field, but Jarvis held the advantage. She utilized the clear track ahead of her to take the optimal lines and did her best to disregard the pressure from Allred, eventually finding a lead of more than a second. At the end of the four laps, Jarvis crossed the finish line with a small but
