lop Elite rider started off the box in fourth-position, but showed immediate determination to get towards the front of the pack. He stormed past the competition in the early stages of the race and worked his way into second place after just two laps, but he wasn’t able to make up ground on DiFrancesco in the lead and ended up crossing the finish line in second position. In the Mini Sr. main event, Deegan finally pulled the holeshot and led the pack for the opening portion of the race, but he came under immense pressure from DiFrancesco after a couple of laps. The pair of them battled back and forth on lap three, but it was just a matter of time before the Kawasaki rider pushed his way into the lead. Nonetheless, Deegan com- pleted an excellent weekend chock-full of podium finishes and gained some invaluable experience on the supermini.
