Seth Hammaker etched his name into the supercross history books when he won the Amateur All-Stars class at Monster Energy Cup in 2017. The Pennsylvania native has been lighting up the amateur ranks on his Team Green Kawasaki throughout the last couple of years, scoring a multitude of podium finishes and overall wins in both the B class and A class. He had a minor setback at the begin- ning of the Thor Winter Olympics last year and was forced to miss the last high-profile race of the season, but Hammaker returned to action at the introductory round of the Supercross Futures series at State Farm Stadium in an attempt to lock up his supercross points before
his inevitable professional debut. The multi- year Team Green rider recently signed a deal with the Pro Circuit Kawasaki team and will be the next highly touted amateur rider to make his debut under the guidance of Mitch Payton and the legendary team. He decided to contest both the 250SX Futures class as well as the Open A division and he matched expectations in both with a couple of solid podium finishes in his first race back from injury. Hammaker was seeded into the very first 250SX Futures race which was easily the most competitive of the four separate heat races, but it didn’t make much of a difference to him.
